Emma Roberts was left badly bruised after her altercation with boyfriend Evan Peters.

The 'American Horror Story' actress - who is Julia Roberts' niece - was arrested and released without charge after a domestic violence incident in Montreal, Canada, last week.

Evan was left with a bloody nose and an alleged bite mark after the scuffle in their hotel room in the early hours of July 7, but it now appears Emma was also hurt.

New pictures show the 22-year-old star with black and blue bruises all over her legs and a scar on her knee.

The actress was also sporting a plaster on her left elbow during her first public appearance since the incident, according to TMZ.com.

Emma was arrested by police after multiple sources reported the hotel room fight, because her physical injuries appeared to be more minor than Evan's. The starlet was released hours later as the 24-year-old 'Kick-Ass' actor refused to press charges.

The couple - who have been dating for a year - are still together and have resumed filming for hit TV show 'American Horror Story'.

Emma and Evan met on the set of 'Adult World' last year and have regularly been spotted indulging in public displays of affection.
