Eminem has been confirmed to attend the MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday (10.11.13), where he will pick up the Global Icon Award.
Eminem will be appearing at the MTV Europe Music Awards tomorrow (10.11.13).
The rapper has been confirmed to attend the awards ceremony held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where he is due to be presented with the Global Icon Award.
The 'Lose Yourself' hitmaker - who is also rumoured to be performing - follows in the footsteps of music legends including Bon Jovi, Queen and Whitney Houston.
Bruce Gilmer from MTV said: ''A lot of thought goes into who could possibly be appropriate. This man, has sold over 80 million records.
''I think everyone agrees, Eminem is one of the most creative and unique artists of our time.''
Acts already confirmed to take to the stage include Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Katy Perry and Kings Of Leon.
Meanwhile, this year's EMAs host Red Foo from LMFAO has been getting to know host city Amsterdam ahead of tomorrow's show.
He told BANG Showbiz: ''Amsterdam is incredible, and the women are incredible here becuase they all ride bikes and they are fit and it is lovely, and the bikes are serious here.
''You see ones with, like three baby seats on them. And then coffeeshops! I saw Afrojack in one last night and we had some, y'know, coffee.''
The eccentric star can't wait to see controversial pop artist Miley Cyrus in action, and is hoping her performance will live up to her twerk-tastic MTV VMAs set, which saw her grinding up against Robin Thicke while rubbing a foam finger all over her body.
He said: ''I'm looking forward to seeing Icona Pop, I love Katy Perry, Miley, of course, I just wanna see what she is gonna do. Yesterday I refused to watch her rehearsal because I didn't want to spoil the surprise.''
