Rapper Eminem has taken aim at singer Lana Del Rey in a new freestyle, suggesting he would "punch her in the face twice".
The hip-hop star has never been one to censor his lyrics, and in a new video released on Monday (10Nov14) to promote his upcoming Shady Xv compilation, he has courted controversy once again with lines referring to domestic violence.
In the nearly seven-minute a cappella freestyle rap, he spits, "But I may fight for gay rights, especially if the d**e is more of a knockout than Janay Rice/Play nice? B**ch I'll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance/'Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens."
Eminem references a February (14) incident, in which Baltimore Ravens player Ray Rice was caught on camera allegedly assaulting his partner Janay in an elevator. His actions led to a ban from playing in the National Football League.
