Rapper Eminem has settled a lawsuit with Hotstylz rapper Raydio G over a sampled song.
The Chicago, Illinois MC, real name Raymond Jones, sued the star for $8 million (£5.6 million) last year (15), claiming his track Rap God featured a 25-second sample of his tune Lookin' Boy.
Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, hit back at the allegations, insisting he had never heard of Jones and suggested his lawsuit was too vague.
He also explained the songs shared no other similarities, except for the phrase "looking boy". He requested a judge dismiss the lawsuit and last month (Feb16) it was closed after the parties reached a confidential settlement, according to TheJasmineBrand.com.
