Eminem has quit director Antoine Fuqua's boxing movie, leaving Jake Gyllenhaal to step in and swing.

The rapper was attached to star in Southpaw but he has decided to walk away from the low-budget film.

According to Deadline.com, Gyllenhaal has replaced Eminem, and now he will play a welterweight champion with personal life issues.
