British actress Emily Blunt constantly smiles in public in a bid to dismiss her perceived reputation as nasty and unfriendly.
The star is often associated with being rude because of her cold characters in The Devil Wears Prada and My Summer Of Love.
Blunt is baffled by the tag, but she makes sure she's always grinning in real life in the hope fans will realise she's a nice person.
She tells Britain's Daily Express, "Everyone says: 'You're a right b**ch!' But I'm honestly not.
"I suppose it's the British accent and some of my work, like my first film My Summer Of Love, where I played a very devious girl.
"I try to smile and be as friendly as possible so people will go home and say: 'You know what? That Emily Blunt isn't nasty at all!"
