Sir Elton John Is Boycotting Dolce & Gabbana's Designs After The Creative Couple Made A Stand Against Same-sex Parents In A New Italian Magazine Interview.
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been outspoken against same-sex families for years, but it seems their latest remarks in Panorama magazine have upset Sir Elton, who is dad to two sons with his husband David Furnish.
In the piece, the designers call IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) babies "chemical offsprings" from a "rented uterus", prompting the gay knight to hit back via Instagram.com.
Sir Elton rages, "How dare you refer to my beautiful children as 'synthetic'. And shame on you for wagging your judgemental little fingers at IVF - a miracle that has allowed legions of loving people, both straight and gay, to fulfil their dream of having children.
"Your archaic thinking is out of step with the times, just like your fashions. I shall never wear Dolce and Gabbana ever again. #BoycottDolceGabbana."
