British singer Ellie Goulding thanked fans for their patience as they braved freezing temperatures to line up for her concert in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Friday (25Jan13) by treating them to hot pizza.

The Lights hitmaker was flattered to see devotees camping outside The Electric Factory venue in minus seven degree Celcius (19 degree Fahrenheit) hours before show time to secure their spots in front of the stage, so she decided to show her gratitude by ordering them some fast food.

Alerting gig-goers to the good news via her Twitter.com page, she wrote, "Oi lovely people who've been queuing in the snow for ages I ordered you pizza enjoy".

Goulding isn't the only generous star to feed her following - Beyonce and Lady Gaga have also previously treated waiting fans to tasty snacks.
