Ellie Goulding thinks Britain's royal family are ''really good fun''.
The 'Explosions' hitmaker admitted that whilst she felt comfortable before her performance at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding reception in 2011, it was ''surreal''.
The Daily Express newspaper reports Ellie as saying: ''I'm friends with the [royals], so it's not like it's awkward because I don't know them. So that's fine.
''But I think just because it's performing in such an incredible place it can make it quite surreal. I think that's the only aspect of it.''
She added: ''They're really good fun, so it's never been weird for me, it's always just been fun.''
Meanwhile, Ellie - who also performed at Prince Harry's 30th birthday celebrations earlier this year - would be happy to put in a performance again if the royal family so wished her to and credited their love for British music for her recurring invitations.
She said: ''If they ask me again, of course. I'm sure I will at some point.
''I think they're big fans of British music and I feel lucky that I'm one of the people who gets to represent that at the moment.''
