Ellie Goulding says she'll ''probably'' marry her boyfriend Dougie Poynter one day.

The 28-year-old singer has only been dating her beau for the past 19 months but is confident their romance will withstand the test of time and they'll eventually get hitched.

Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on his BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show, she said when asked if they'll tie the knot in the future: ''I don't know... probably. I mean, he's all right.''

However, the blonde stunner still can't fathom how lucky she is to have such a ''fit'' male on her arm and doesn't understand what the frizzy-haired hunk sees in her.

She explained: ''I tell him he's fit all the time. He just tells me to shut up, he doesn't like that kind of thing. But he is. I don't know why he's even with me!''

Meanwhile, the McBusted star, 27, has made no secret of the fact he'd like to make an honest woman out of Ellie and even hinted a few months ago that wedding bells could be just around the corner for the pair.

Asked whether he's going to pop the question in the near future, he teased earlier this year: ''Well... I don't want to say too much. It would ruin the surprise.''
