Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne have reconciled.

The 48-year-old star and the retired cricketer have got back together after the brunette beauty called time on their engagement in September - two years after he popped the question - when the actress reportedly found intimate text messages on the ex-sportsman's mobile phone while packing for a trip to his native Australia.

A source told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: ''The row between them was a bad one after Elizabeth came across a mobile phone.

''When she took a look there were things which made her a bit suspicious - including some text messages to people she didn't know.

''But everything has been glossed over now - Elizabeth has forgiven him. They're very happy as a couple and desperate to make things work.''

Elizabeth and Shane, 44, are now said to be keen to get their wedding plans finalised as soon as they can.

The 'Austin Powers' star was said to be ''deeply upset'' following their split, which was initially blamed on their busy schedules and long periods apart.

A source said at the time: ''Elizabeth is deeply upset about recent events and is hibernating socially for a while, only seeing her old and trusted friends.''
