The movie grossed $53.2 million (£33.25 million) to debut at number one, way ahead of Pitch Perfect 2, which sits at two with $14.8 million (£9.25 million).

Last week's top film, Tomorrowland, slips to three, while Mad Max: Fury Road and Avengers: The Age of Ultron round out the top five, respectively.
