Barrymore has always wanted more than one kid, she says.
This year seems to have been all about celebrity babies and pregnancies and while Drew Barrymore might be a bit late to the party, here she is with some exciting news of her own. According to US Weekly, the actress’ reps have confirmed that Ms Barrymore does in fact, have a bun in the oven, and the early reports of an emerging bump isn’t simply due to natural weight gain. Well, that depends on how you define natural weight gain, anyway.
Over the weekend, the actress appeared to be concealing an already growing baby bump.
The little stranger (want to see how many baby euphemisms can be squeezed into one article?) will be the second one for the 38-year-old actress and her husband Will Kopelman. Their first daughter, Olive is just 13 months old. Even before the official confirmation of the news from Barrymore’s camp, the rumors had started swirling, after the actress/producer made an appearance LACMA Art+Film Gala honoring Martin Scorcese and David Hockney on Saturday, Nov. 2. She wore a long, loose-fitting dress, which seemed like the classic mother-to-be choice for an actress.
This comes after an interview Barrymore did with Jay Leno earlier last month, in which she mentioned that she would very much like to have a second child. "I want the kids in the back rolling their eyes at mom and dad. I want Rusty and Audrey, theme parks and the whole nine," Barrymore explained. Well, it looks like she’ll get her wish.
This will be a second baby for the actress and her husband.
