The rapper called London his "second home" as he performed in front of a Union Jack backdrop during his 90-minute set, and surprised the crowds as he brought out London grime MC Skepta for the track Shutdown, prompting cheers from the crowd at Finsbury Park in north London.

Drake and Skepta then paid tribute to Lukey Maxwell, who was stabbed and killed in June (15) in Northumberland Park in the capital.

Opening and closing with Legend from his 2015 mixtape, Drake told the crowd, "I do a lot of festivals but this is my favourite crowd ever... Whenever I'm away from home you make me feel at home."

The rapper also revealed plans to stay in London to work on his new album, Views From The 6. He added, "I'm going to stay here for two weeks and work on the album... I don't care about these singers or these rappers, I just care about you guys."
