Dita Von Teese is ''very hands on'' when it comes to her fashion, perfume and cosmetics lines.
The burlesque dancer - who has own range of vintage clothes, makes-up and perfume - says she likes to be very involved with every single one of her products as it needs to be something she is proud of.
Speaking about working on her second fragrance, Dita - who has teamed up with Cointreau to design a new evening bag - exclusively told BANG Showbiz: ''I was very adamant about not having vanilla or fruit or any sweetness you know. I wanted really grown up, sophisticated, seductive perfume, not, you know, girlie things. It took a year-and-a-half before we created something completely unique and new and it was a really fun process to find out what I really like and what I don't like. For a little while in the beginning of the process they'd do reworks of the perfumes and I'd say 'Did you put vanilla in there?' and they'd say, 'Yeah a little bit, but...' I'd be like, 'Oh, but I hate vanilla!' so it was a long process to get it exactly as I wanted it.''
Although her clothing line, Muse, is quite new, Dita - who is famed for her glamorous style - is still very involved and she has been inspired by the clothes she wears.
She said: ''It's a clothing collection inspired by some of my most iconic vintage pieces, and things that I think translate well, that don't look like a costume drama.
''I'm very hands-on. I've done one collection so far, but I'm not doing seasons like most designers, I just keep refining the collection and changing the fabrics and such for each collection.
