Denzel Washington And Patti LuPone Have Been Named Artistic Advisers Of A Community Performing Arts Centre In Los Angeles.
The Training Day actor and the Broadway star have teamed up bosses of the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts for the 2015-2016 season, and will each give a masterclass, which will be open to the public.
Washington will take part in the An Evening with Denzel Washington event on 17 September (15) and LuPone will share advice on 31 March (16). She is also set to perform two concerts at the school in April (16).
LuPone says, "I am thrilled to be returning this season not only as a performer but as an Artistic Adviser, leading a Master Class for young singers, passing along what I know. The Wallis understands that education is one of the most important ways for the arts to thrive in our culture."
