Denise Richards has her say on the matter of her weight
This Denise Richards skinny argument has gone on long enough. Well, according to Richards herself, anyway. The star has defended the way she looks in light of people claiming she’s too skinny.
“I don’t know why lately I’ve been getting so much flack for it… I have a very healthy lifestyle and I’m busy,” she explains. “I have a daughter who’s almost 2 that I carry all the time. She’s just under 30 pounds. I’m such an advocate for health and fitness… in moderation. We eat ice cream all the time. I had grilled cheese before we got here.” Such is the press, report immediately surfaced, following a picture of Denise looking very thin, that the Starship Troopers star had developed an eating disorder. "They actually like to cut up fresh vegetables with ranch dressing on the side. That's their favorite!" she said of her kids. "They love helping. They like making salads because they like chopping things up and rinsing the lettuce. Nothing too fancy!"
Leave me alone, says Richards (we're reading between the lines)
A source told E! News earlier this week: "Everything is fine with Denise. Nothing is wrong. Denise is taking care of her daughters, her dogs and filming her new show. Look at her arms. She is ripped. She carries baby Eloise everywhere. She has always lived a healthy lifestyle, she eats healthy and has done Pilates for years." Kind words from a friendly source there, not that it mattered though, as Richards had to come out herself and defend the way she looks.
