Demi Lovato has formed a ''really close'' bond with Jennifer Lopez.

The 'Skyscraper' hitmaker says she really admires the 45-year-old star's confidence and looks to her for inspiration.

The 22-year-old singer said: ''Some of the women that really inspire me, I would say I've become really close with Jennifer Lopez.''

Asked what she likes about the 'Booty' hitmaker, Demi told E! News: ''She's such a strong, confident woman that she's really helped me with learning that stuff and she's just such an inspirational person and so empowering and if there's anybody that's super radiant and confident, it's her.''

The former Disney star, who spent three-months in treatment for bulimia, a self-harming disorder and drug abuse in late 2010, previously praised Beyoncé for inspiring her to get fit.

She said: ''If she can work out, have the incredible body she has, have a kid, and be as successful as she is, then I sure as hell can, too.''

The brunette beauty has also hailed Kim Kardashian West for her body confidence in the past.

She said: ''Say what you will about the Kardashians, but they've really helped make curvy bodies beautiful again. It's so nice to look around and see women with hips and a butt, like Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Lopez. They have great figures, but you know they also work really hard for them and don't try to hide their curviness.''
