David Hasselhoff has signed up to compete in a gruelling triathlon in London.
The Baywatch star joins Harry Potter actor Oliver Phelps and British pop star Michelle Heaton on business magnate Sir Richard Branson's celebrity team at the upcoming race.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "I've just joined Richard Branson's team for the Virgin Active UK London Triathlon this Sept, let the training begin!"
Hasselhoff's teammates have been training for months, but the 60-year-old hunk has just three weeks to prepare for the running, swimming and cycling endurance challenge.
The Virgin Active London Triathlon will take place on 22-23 September (12) in the U.K. capital.
