Life On Mars? has been named the greatest David Bowie song of all time in a new poll to mark the music legend's 65th birthday.
The veteran singer/songwriter reached the milestone on Saturday (07Jan12) and to highlight his special day, readers of Digital Spy were invited to vote for their top Bowie track.
Life on Mars?, a 1973 single, topped the poll with 21.4 per cent, while Heroes, the title track of his 1977 album, garnered 12.5 per cent to land second place.
Ashes to Ashes was in third place, followed by Let's Dance in fourth and Starman in fifth.
