The iconic singer’s agent has confirmed Bowie will never hit the road again.
It’s sad news for David Bowie fans who were hoping the singer would some day return to touring. While speaking at the International Festival Forum in London, Bowie’s booking agent John Giddings confirmed the singer has officially retired from touring, despite continuing to make new music.
David Bowie’s agent says he’ll never tour again.
“David [Bowie] is one of the best artists I’ve ever worked with. But every time I see him now, before I even speak to him, he goes, I’m not touring and I say, I’m not asking,” Giddings, who promotes the Isle of White Festival said.

“He has decided to retire and, like Phil Collins, you can’t demand these people go out there again and again and again. I’m really pleased and proud that the last show he ever did in the UK was the 2004 Isle Of Wight Festival.”
The last time Bowie hit the road was in 2004 in support of his album Reality, but the tour ended up being cut short due to a medical emergency. Since then fans had hoped the singer would one day return to live performing, especially after the release of his 2013 album The Next Day.
