Daniel Radcliffe had good reason to miss Comic-Con in California last weekend (24-25Jul10) - new snaps show he was busy drinking vodka and partying with a bevy of beauties on his 21st birthday in Russia.
The Harry Potter star upset thousands of wizard fans who camped outside the comic book convention to ensure they were first in line to catch the Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows panel discussion - only for none of the leading stars to turn up.
Radcliffe later apologised and insisted he was never booked to attend the event, explaining that he spent the weekend in Russia for his big birthday celebrations.
He told fans, "I apologise to all the wishful thinkers for my disappointing non-presence. I was in Saint Petersburg for my birthday, which is probably the most beautiful, the most incredible, wonderful place I've ever been in my life. It really is absolutely amazing. I went with two friends and it was brilliant."
And new pictures show he celebrated the milestone in style - pouring Russia's staple drink vodka with a bartender before laughing and partying with several local ladies.
