Google's auto complete feature has been well documented for it's hilarious suggestions. Whether you're trying to find out 'how to raise your self-esteem' but are offered 'how to raise your IQ by eating gifted children', or you receive an equally unhelpful line of questioning, sometimes the feature is enough to put people off searching for an answer to their problem.

Daniel Radcliffe at What If? premier
The actor stopped googling himself after becoming annoyed by the automatic suggestions.

This is the apparent reasoning for Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe no longer googling himself. In a recent interview with The Guardian, Radcliffe talked about the auto-results he used to see if he ever googled his own name. "Daniel Radcliffe alcoholic. Daniel Radcliffe gay. Daniel Radcliffe girlfriend."

"I'm pleased my girlfriend [now] comes up before alcoholic or gay," he stated after being told that 'Daniel Radcliffe girlfriend' is apparently the most searched. "When I first did that," he continued, "I got really annoyed for about half a minute, until I tried a few other people's names and I found out [gay] comes up after almost everyone if they're a man, and even some women - Florence Welch had it, and I was like, really?"

"If people are speculating about your sexuality, then you're doing OK," he suggested, before concluding: "There's a line in The Thick Of It - Googling yourself is like opening the door to a room full of people telling you how shit you are - and it's exactly that."

The twenty-five-year-old is currently promoting What If? (called The F Word outside the US and UK) which will have it's UK release on the 20th August, 2014. Following that, Radcliffe is set to appear in 2015's Trainwreck, before playing Igor in Frankenstein, released in October the same year.

Combining that with his continuing run on Broadway this year in The Cripple of Inishmaan, Radcliffe has the sort of schedule most fans of his will be busy googling for themselves in the coming months.
