Dakota Johnson took a flogger from the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' set.

The 25-year-old star plays submissive Ana Steele in the erotic movie and admitted she kept one of the whips from the raunchy film, but the brunette beauty insists the implement - which is made up of a handle and several straps - is now gathering dust in her garage.

In a Q&A with Glamour magazine, she said: ''I do have a flogger in my house (it's in the garage with dust).''

Dakota also admitted she stole numerous items of lingerie from the film set because she loved the feel of the sexy undies she had to wear while shooting the motion picture.

She said: ''I stole lots of the underwear - they were comfortable.''

While the star insisted ''getting to meet everyone'' on the set was the best thing about appearing in the movie - which also features Jamie Dornan as BDSM fan Christian Grey - she also admitted the film was a daunting prospect because she has so many scantily-clad scenes.

When asked what her biggest sacrifice has been, she replied: ''To do Fifty Shades. The whole world can see me naked.''

Dakota admitted earlier this month she still occasionally feels she may have made the wrong decision by accepting the role.

She said: ''Even now there are moments when I think, 'What the f**k have I done?' But most of the time I feel pretty solid about it.''
