Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has been taking singing lessons to improve his voice.

British IN MY PLACE singer Martin, currently dating Hollywood star GWYNETH PALTROW, regularly meets with a top vocal coach - despite having one of the most recognised voices in music.

An insider tells British tabloid the SUNDAY MIRROR, "He does have singing lessons because he has been touring for months and doesn't want to harm his voice in any way."
