The Parks and Recreation star and his actress wife stayed in Britain while he was shooting action movie Guardians of the Galaxy, and she fell in love with The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE), which follows real-life residents of the county which borders London.
Local inhabitants are known to have a broad accent, and Pratt has confessed his wife's obsession with the show has rubbed off on him and he can now deliver a perfect Essex brogue.
He tells U.K. talk show host Graham Norton, "When I was filming Guardians of the Galaxy in the U.K. we watched a lot of garbage TV and my wife went crazy for TOWIE. She fell in love with the show and I started picking up the accent so now the only British one I can do is an Essex one."
