Hollywood star Chris Pratt has admitted he feels ''remorse'' for the animals he's killed as a recreational hunter.
Chris Pratt feels ''remorse'' for the animals he's killed as a recreational hunter.
The 35-year-old Hollywood hunk - who stars in the much-anticipated new sci-fi movie 'Jurassic World' - enjoys hunting in his spare time and has claimed the hobby helps him to understand ''what parts of me are animal and what parts of me are human''.
He explained: ''I have a great deal of respect for the animals that I kill and I feel remorse and all of the emotions that come with it.''
Chris has insisted that, contrary to popular perception, it's possible to kill an animal and still feel a deep-rooted sense of contrition.
He told the Guardian newspaper: ''The thing inside me that drives me to go out and hunt is very animal. But the remorse, emotion and respect I feel, and the closeness to God that I feel when I'm out there, is my humanity. It's an opportunity for me to explore what parts of me are animal and what parts of me are human.''
Meanwhile, Chris revealed recently that he became ''impotent'' after piling on weight for his role in the TV sitcom 'Parks and Recreation'.
Chris - who's married to 'Scary Movie' actress Anna Faris, with whom he has two-year-old son Jack - admitted: ''I was impotent, fatigued, emotionally depressed. I had real health issues that were affecting me in a major way. It's bad for your heart, your skin, your system, your spirit.''
