Chris Hemsworth loves watching films.

The 'Thor' star may have starred in a number of hit movies but his wife Elsa Pataky has revealed the pair regularly enjoy film-based date nights.

She told Spain's Glamour magazine: ''As you can imagine, Chris and I love watching films, so on Saturday we decided to go to one of our favourite cinemas in London. It's called Electric and I wanted to tell you about it because it's a very different and unusual way of watching films.

''We chat and enjoy a glass of wine together, and then we watch the film. It's one of our few hobbies because, as some of you will know, it's hard to keep up with your hobbies when you have kids! I love the sausage rolls and hummus, they are delicious! I even bought some sweets... it was my cheating day!''

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old actor - who has three-year-old India, 15-month-old twins Tristan and Sasha with Elsa - previously admitted his favourite movie he has ever starred in was 'Rush'.

He said: '''Rush' is something that I just fell in love with. The characters and the true story of it all. It was a real turning point for me and the kind of work I was doing.

''What I learned also from that character - James Hunt - I took with me outside of that film. His sort of childlike nature in the sense of his making the most of everything and having fun and getting the most out of it was something I definitely took away from that.''
