Chris Hemsworth had to clean breast pumps to make a living before acting.

The 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' star has revealed the worst job he had before making it in Hollywood was scrubbing the used nursing aids at a pharmacy.

When asked during a joint video interview with his 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' co-star Chris Evans what his worst job had been, the Australian hunk instantly replied: ''Cleaning Breast pumps!

''I worked for a pharmacy that would rent out milk extractors, you know breast pumps, for pregnant women.

''I swear to God I had a toothbrush and a spray, and I would scrub off dried milk off the machines.''

Evans, who was convulsing with laughter next to him, chipped in to say: ''This is hilarious!''

Continuing to discuss his unusual role with Collider.com, Hemsworth - who is married to Elsa Pataky - added: ''And if they didn't work, I'd have to unscrew them, replace the little thing...''

Prompting Evans to butt in and finish his sentence with the words: ''And pump the breast myself!''

Hemsworth, 31, also revealed his favourite thing about returning to his character Thor for the Marvel superhero sequel.

Speaking about the 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' shoot, he said: ''The best part of filming was having a beer and a chat with friends at the start ... That was basically just all us having a good time and catching up because it was at the start of the movie.''
