Marvel Studios has just announced five new release dates through summer 2019 - this on top of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America 3 and Ant-Man.

Guardians of the GalaxyGuardians of the Galaxy hits in August

No titles yet have been given, but Marvel has confirmed it will release new movies on the following dates:

July 28, 2017

November 3, 2017

July 6, 2018

November 2, 2018

May 3, 2019

These are in addition to Avengers on May 1, 2015, Ant-Man on July 17, 2015 and Captain America 3 on May 6, 2016, as well as a movie thought to be Doctor Strange set for July 8, 2016.

Most people have figured out by now that May 2019 will probably be Avengers 3 and as Screen Rant notes, the lack of date in May 2018 is probably due to the fact that Marvel has a solid relationship with Sony, who are probably planning to release The Amazing Spider-Man 3 at that time.

As for May 2017, that could either be for Thor 3, or Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

We should find out which movies match up to which dates when Marvel takes to the stage next Saturday (July19, 2014) in Hall H of the San Diego Convention Center at the 45th annual Comic Con San Diego.

Marvel's latest movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, hits theaters on August 1, 2014. Based on the Marvel comics superhero team of the same name, the movie stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, and Benicio del Toro.
