Since Chris Brown was asked to appear in court following a failed drug test which threatened to violate his probation, ex-girlfriend Rihanna hasn’t been holding back on her prayers for him.

It may seem like an unusual situation that Rihanna should be so hopeful that he is let off in court seeing as his five year probation was a result of a case of serious domestic violence between the two of them while they were together in 2009. Nonetheless, according to a tweet on Chris Brown’s Twitter page, she still seems to care for the recording artist: ‘‘@rihanna: @chrisbrown I’m praying for you and wishing u the best today!’ : thank u so much.’ Rihanna also posted a Tweet on her page that seemed to refer to Brown which read: ‘Praying for you baby, my best wishes are with you today! Remember that whatever God does in our lives, it is WELL DONE!!! #1Love’.

Brown was subjected to a random drug test in the state of Virginia where marijuana is illegal and failed. However, given that he had a medical prescription for using marijuana, valid only for the state of California where he claimed to have used the drug, and the fact that his probation order did not mention that he would ever have to undergo random drug tests, Judge Patricia Schnegg only cautioned him but strongly advised him to in future consider more carefully what he says and does as his actions can ‘impact a lot of people’ including children.
