R&B singer Chris Brown has settled two civil lawsuits stemming from separate altercations last year (13).
In September (14), the Kiss Kiss hitmaker avoided further jail time, probation or a large fine by pleading guilty to assaulting a man outside a hotel in Washington, D.C.
However, the victim later filed a civil suit and Brown has now settled it by paying him $100,000 (£625,000).
According to Tmz.com, Brown has also reached a settlement with the cousin of hip-hop star Frank Ocean, Sha'Keir Duarte, who launched a $3 million (£1.8 million) civil lawsuit against Brown in January (13). Duarte accused him of provoking a parking lot brawl in Hollywood.
That case was recently settled for around $20,000 (£12,500).
