Chris Brown Has Launched Into A Rant About Child Support Payments In The Midst Of A Legal Battle With The Mother Of His Daughter Over The Amount She Receives.
The Loyal hitmaker confirmed he had fathered a child with model Nia Guzman earlier this year (15), and the pair has been locked in a legal battle over Royalty, who celebrated her first birthday in June (15).
Brown has asked a judge to establish his paternity so he can fight for joint custody, and Guzman filed legal paperwork demanding $15,000 (£9,000) a month in child support, but the singer declared it is too much and should be nearer his current monthly bill of $2,500 (£1,600).
He has now taken his battle to social media to rant about support money, writing on Twitter.com, "Some men my age run from their responsibility as fathers. I embrace mine. Just sucks that some females use children as meal tickets... Using a child as leverage is never ok..."
Guzman has also asked for Brown's visits with Royalty to be supervised.
