Chris Brown will be allowed to leave rehab for a few hours on Sunday (22.12.13) to take part in a charity toy drive to benefit underprivileged children.
Chris Brown will be let out of rehab to collect Christmas toys for underprivileged children.
The 'Love More' singer is scheduled to appear at a charity toy drive hosted by skateboard company Brooklyn Projects and his clothing line Black Pyramid on Sunday (22.12.13) in Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles.
Chris, 24, is currently in the midst of a 90-day court-ordered stint in rehab for anger management, but will apparently be given a temporary release to help out at the philanthropic event.
Organisers are touting that fans who bring unwrapped gifts for donation will be able to meet the Grammy Award-winning star.
Chris' recent rehab stay was mandated by a Los Angeles judge after he was kicked out of another rehab centre in Malibu, California, after throwing a rock through his mother's car window.
The 'Turn Up the Music' crooner voluntarily checked himself into the first rehab facility following an arrest for an altercation outside a hotel in Washington, DC, in October.
Chris was on probation for a 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna at the time of his latest arrest and earlier this week, a judge revoked his freedom as the hotel altercation was deemed a violation of the terms of his probation.
Rather than being sentenced to jail, however, the judge will allow the singer to complete his rehab for anger management.
