Chris Brown ''really loves'' his daughter, Royalty.

The 'Loyal' hitmaker, who publicly acknowledged the 10-month-old tot's existence for the first time by posting a photograph of them on Instagram on Thursday (16.04.15), has reportedly been spending lots of quality time with her in private.

A source close to the 25-year-old singer, who got the little girl's mother Nia Amey pregnant while he was still in a relationship with his now ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, said: ''Chris really loves that little girl. He is not denying he's the father. He's playful with her and dotes on her.''

Baby rumours first began swirling last month, but the star immediately accepted Royalty was his child.

The source told E! News: ''Chris never denied the baby was his. So it's not like the photo he posted is him admitting anything. He always accepted it. He's just becoming a lot more public about it.

''He wants the world to know she's his daughter. It's not the only time Chris has seen Royalty. There have been several visits.''

The 'Ayo' hitmaker is eager for Nia to move from Houston, Texas to Los Angeles so he can spend more time with them.

The insider said: ''Everything is going really well. Chris sees Royalty all the time. He wants [mother] Nia and the baby to move to California to be closer to him. Nia is open to it.''

The duo are ''on good terms'' but have no plans to rekindle their romance.

The source added: ''Neither Chris nor Nia is interested in a romantic relationship, which makes things easier. He can do what he wants, she can do what she wants - there's no stress about that.''
