Chris Brown axed gigs at Energy Rush festival in Halifax, Toronto, Saint John and Winnipeg in Canada due to ''health related issues'' following a non-epileptic seizure last month.
Chris Brown has cancelled four concerts in Canada due to ''health-related issues''.
The 'Love Me' singer was set to headline the Energy Rush festival in Halifax, Toronto, Saint John and Winnipeg, but promoters have now been forced to axe the shows.
In a statement released yesterday (19.08.13) Drop Entertainment Group, who were behind the festivals, said: ''After ongoing conversation and consultation with this year's headline act, Chris Brown, and in light of the performer's recent personal and health-related issues, a decision has been made to cancel all four scheduled performances.''
Energy Rush festival was unable to continue without a headline act and has subsequently been postponed until next year.
The axing comes after Chris, 24, was hospitalised last month following a non-epileptic seizure at Record Plant recording studios in Hollywood. His representatives blamed the incident on his intense fatigue and ''extreme emotional stress'' in relation to his recent legal troubles following an alleged hit and run incident in May, which he was cleared of last week.
However, Chris' probation - for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna - was only reinstated on the condition he complete a further 1,000 hours of community service. He had previously been accused of submitting bogus community service reports for the 1,440 hours he was originally ordered to complete.
Chris has also recently threatened to quite the music industry.
He wrote on Twitter: ''Don't worry mainstream America. After this 'X' album, it'll probably be my last album.
''Being famous is amazing when it's for ur music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I'm cool & over it! (sic).''
'X' will be released on August 26.
