Chris Brown and Drake buried the hatchet by sharing a hug at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas on Friday (21.09.13) following their furious bottle-throwing brawl over mutual love interest Rihanna at a New York nightclub in June 2012.
Chris Brown and Drake have ended their ongoing feud with a hug.
The two musicians buried the hatchet by embracing at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas on Friday (21.09.13) following their furious bottle-throwing brawl over mutual love interest Rihanna at a New York nightclub in June 2012.
It's alleged the Canadian rapper arrived specifically to watch the 'Fine China' singer's performance, and there were even talks of a future collaboration together.
A source revealed to New York Post newspaper: ''Drake came on Friday with his whole crew, and watched Chris' entire set. They were backstage hugging and drinking.''
Insiders claim the reunion was initiated by Def Jam music executive Abou Thiam - who is one of Brown's managers and a brother of rapper Akon - as his relationship with both stars helped to build a bridge between the pair.
A source explained: ''[Abou is] very friendly with Drake, and worked to try and get him and Chris together to put their differences aside.''
The reunion comes after reports in June that Brown was fed up with the ongoing feud and was keen to clear the air.
A pal told Hollywoodlife.com: ''Chris doesn't want to talk about Drake or anybody but himself, what he's doing and keeping it positive.
''He ain't trying to comment on it and keep it going. He left that stuff in last year - he's doing him and staying focused on the positive.''
