Followers of the singer got a shock on Monday morning when they saw her latest Instagram posts.
Cheryl has become the latest celebrity victim of an Instagram hack, after trolls took over her account and began posting ‘satanic’ images.
The singer’s 2.7million Instagram followers saw a series of images uploaded to her account on Monday, with one reading ‘Hail Satan’ and another ‘F*** Liam Payne’.

One image showed a pentagram with ‘666’ and an upside down cross underneath and was captioned: ‘HAIL SATAN 666 B***H THATS WHAT WE DO’.
Another was of an upside down cross against a black background, along with the message: '666 f*** Liam Payne'.

A third showed the bio for the twitter account of a user named gin$eng who is a member of the #CyberWolfGang, listed in Denmark.
Fans were quick to notice the hack and reached out to Instagram, pleading with them to do something to help the singer. Others even tweeted her boyfriend Liam Payne asking him to try and change her password.
The posts have since been deleted and a spokesperson for Cheryl told The Independent: “We are aware and we are sorting it out at the moment.”

Meanwhile on Thursday Cheryl finalised her divorce from restauranteur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini .
A rep for the singer said in a statement: "Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini have today obtained Decree Nisi in their divorce proceedings. No further comment will be made and they ask for their privacy to be respected.”
