Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's husband is opening a restaurant in London.
Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini's business commitments have previously been based in his native France, but he is now close to confirming a venue for a trendy bar and eatery in the UK.
A source said: ''It was always Jean-Bernard's plan to move his life to England - both personally and professionally - after meeting Cheryl.
''It wouldn't work if he was still in France while she was based back in the UK.
''He's narrowed down his search to a few venues so is not far off making an announcement.
''JB is hoping to reveal all soon and is aiming to open the new venture towards the end of 2015.''
Jean-Bernard felt the time was right to look for premises in the UK after his 'Only Human' singer spouse signed on to judge another series of TV talent show 'The X Factor'.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: ''With her being on the 'X Factor' for another series, the idea of him setting up a business he can get his teeth into makes sense. He could have lived off Cheryl's endless riches for the rest of his life but it's not his style.''
Though the restaurateur used to run Cosy Box in Cannes with friend Franck Twister, his British venture will be ''completely new''.
However, he has also registered the UK copyright and a website under that name.
The news comes after it was revealed the couple have splashed out £4 million on a new home in north London.
