The former Girls Aloud star despises visiting shops in person and prefers to purchase her clothes online to avoid uncomfortable changing rooms.
She said during a Q&A session on Twitter: ''[I prefer] Online shopping bc [because] you get to try them on in the comfort of your own home and I hate dressing rooms in shops.(sic)''
The 31-year-old singer took part in the session to promote her styling competition in aid of Cheryl's Trust - a charity dedicated to helping youngsters realise their potential - with entrants paying a £5 donation to be in with a chance of receiving a makeover from the star.
The L'Oréal ambassador - who is known for her picture-perfect tresses - took to her Instagram account yesterday (15.04.15) to show off her new hair do after swapping her brunette locks for a vibrant red hue.
She captioned the image, which showed her father, Gary, in the background: ''what ye deeing'' ''wait til I git doon these stairs'' Got him !! #rundadrun @ellenoradean thanks for the color refresh. (sic)''
During the Q&A Cheryl also offered her style advice to lucky fans and confessed having the perfect hair style is more important to her than wearing make-up.
When asked if she'd rather have her hair or make-up done, she replied: ''Hair. I can accessorise my face with sunglasses and scarves.''
Cheryl also loves having a vibrant wardrobe as a varied colour palette allows her to dress to suit any mood.
She said: ''I don't have a favourite colour to wear I think it depends on how you're feeling that day.''
