Cheryl Fernandez-Versini insists she doesn't ''need'' to have children yet as there are other youngsters in her life she can help with.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini doesn't ''need'' to have children.
The 31-year-old singer - who married second husband Jean-Bernard Versini in July after two months of dating - insists she doesn't want to have kids yet as she is busy doting on Bobby, her best friend Kimberley Walsh's eight-week-old son, and looking after 17-year-old Lauren Platt, one of her finalists on UK TV show 'The X Factor'.
Asked if she wants to have children, she said: ''Oh god. Kimberley just had her baby, a boy who I consider as a nephew. I don't need my own right now.
''I've got two... not so much in Lola [Saunders, another contestant], but I feel like I've got a little baby to take care of in Lauren on the' X Factor', so I'm doing alright with 12 nieces and nephews, somebody on 'X Factor', and a baby with my best friend.''
However, the 'Crazy Stupid Love' singer could change her mind as she also admitted she has learned to ''live in the moment'' to enjoy life more.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror online, she said: ''You might think one day everything is fine, and then the next you get the rug pulled from under your feet.
''You have to reevaluate and reconsider, so living in the moment is the only way you can enjoy your life.''
These days, Cheryl's main concern is about those she cares about being ''happy and healthy''.
She said: ''[What do I care about?] That everything else outside of work is happy and healthy. Family, friends, loved ones, dogs. Not necessarily in that order, but I won't say the other order as I might get in trouble.''
