Cheryl Cole's childhood dog will undergo radiotherapy today (10.07.13) to be treated for cancer.
The 30-year-old singer is devastated that her elderly Jack Russell mutt Kiera - who is 98 years old in human years - has fallen seriously ill with cancer and will need to endure an intense session of radiation, while spending up to three weeks under medical supervision.
Posting a picture of her beloved pet pooch on Instagram yesterday (09.07.13), Cheryl wrote: ''I have had her since she was two months old and I was 16.
''Tomorrow she has radiotherapy and will be in doggy hospital for two to three weeks.''
The 'Call My Name' hitmaker - who owns four adorable dogs - is heartbroken at the thought of losing her furry friend and has begged her fans to send ''happy vibes'' and pray for little Kiera.
She said: ''Will you help me send her happy vibes and pray for her with me please?
''She's my oldest baby and it's breaking my heart.''
The brunette beauty previously claimed her pet Chihuahua Buster is gay and has a thing for other male dogs.
She said: ''I have two Chihuahuas, Buster and Coco, and I have two Jack Russells. Buster is definitely gay. He loves the other boys.''
