Charlize Theron is reportedly in negotiations to star in and produce 'Cities of Refuge'.
The Oscar-winning actress is in line to play a female investigator enlisted to solve a brutal murder and kidnap before discovering everything is not how it seems.
The 36-year-old star is also in discussions about producing the movie - which has been written by Brandon Willer - alongside Beth Kono from Charlize's production company Denver & Delilah Films.
The blonde beauty has a number of projects coming into fruition now after a quiet few years.
She is set to star in Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus' and Rupert Sanders' 'Snow White And The Huntsman', which will see her appear as the evil Queen alongside Kristen Stewart, who is set to take up the lead role.
But if Charlize looks anything like herself in the movie then it is unlikely she will be watching it after recently admitting she finds it difficult to watch herself on the big screen, but she made an exception for 2003 film 'Monster', which saw her play a real life serial killer.
She said: "I hate to see myself on screen. When I did 'Monster' it wasn't too bad, because I didn't look like Charlize Theron."
