Charlie Sheen pretended he had married to give his ex-wife ''a stroke''.
The 'Anger Management' star claimed yesterday (05.01.13) he had made porn star girlfriend Brett Rossi his fourth wife during a New Year trip to Iceland, but now claims it was a joke to annoy his second spouse, Denise Richards.
Charlie told TMZ.com he made his comment on Twitter because: ''I wanted to give Denise a stroke!''
Charlie, 48, had posted a picture of him and Brett, 24, outside the former French consulate building in Reykjavík - where a 1986 Cold War summit was held between then US president Ronald Reagan and USSR leader Mikhail Gorbachev - and tweeted: ''this is the house ware M Gorbachev R Reagan did some epic. it's also where S and I GOT MARRIED! c #RumorMilUhPede. (sic)''
'S' is a nickname for Brett, who also calls herself Scottie.
Charlie is angry with Denise for taking their daughters Sam, nine, and Lola, eight, away on holiday over Christmas, which he says meant he couldn't see them.
He reportedly sent her a text message ahead of Christmas day saying: ''Lemme see if I got this straight; you won't even spring the girls for 30 mins, from the 10 mil house I gave you, (100 yds away) to come down and open the gifts their dad bought them before they leave??
''I hope your stocking is bronze-age coal stuffed along with an assortment of 8x10's of yours so you can see how despicable and heartlessly ugly you and your fermented soul continue to be.''
Denise maintained Charlie was invited away with them and welcome to spend time with their girls over the festive period.
Charlie was also unable to see his other sons - four-year-old twins Bob and Max - due to an ongoing custody battle between him and his third wife, Brooke Mueller. The twins are currently in the custody of Brooke's brother, Scott Mueller.
