Charlie Sheen has found a potential buyer for his ex-wife Brooke Mueller's house and is desperate to sell it quickly as he no longer wants to live in the same gated community as her in Los Angeles.
Charlie Sheen has found a potential buyer for his ex-wife's house.
The 'Anger Management' star wants to quietly sell the $4.8 million house he bought for Brooke Mueller near his own in the Mulholland Estates in Los Angeles before she regains custody of their sons, Bob and Max, four, and can move back in.
A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: ''Charlie knows someone that is extremely interested in buying the house. He hasn't formally listed the house for sale, because he is hoping to just do a private sale, without having the bother of putting it on the market.
''Brooke might be out of the house by the end of the year. If Charlie's potential buyer backs out, he will formally list it. The house will likely sell very quickly because inventory is extremely low, and Mulholland Estates is a very desirable place to live.''
Brooke's brother, Scott Mueller, is currently caring for the former couple's sons, who were removed from the socialite's care due to her drug use in May.
The boys were previously staying with Denise Richards - another of Charlie's ex-wives, who has two daughters with him - but she had to give up the twins when they displayed ''violent behaviour''.
The insider said that Denise and Charlie, who also live in separate houses in the same gated community, ''are obviously looking forward to the day when Brooke is finally out of the neighbourhood. The idea when Charlie bought the third house in the gated community was that all of his kids would be living close by, and it would be a large extended family.
''Obviously, with Brooke's 22nd trip to rehab and all of the drama that has brought on, Charlie thinks it was a huge mistake to have bought the house.''
