The My Heart Will Go On hitmaker took an indefinite break from her Las Vegas run in August last year (14) to deal with her longtime manager and partner Rene Angelil's health struggle.

Dion has now confirmed she will be returning with a whole new show 12 months on from her stage exit.

She tells People.com, "It is very emotional for me and I'm anticipating the emotions to grow even more as the date gets closer... It's very touching. Every night is a new show... I promise there will be high, happy notes."

At the time of her hiatus announcement, Dion said, "I want to devote every ounce of my strength and energy to my husband's healing, and to do so, it's important for me to dedicate this time to him and to our children. I also want to apologize to all my fans everywhere, for inconveniencing them, and I thank them so much for their love and support."

Angelil underwent surgery for throat cancer in December, 2013.
