Actress Cate Blanchett Lost Her Cool During A Chat With An Australian Tv Reporter While Promoting Her New Disney Film Cinderella On Wednesday (25mar15) When He Asked A Bizarre Question About Her Character's Cat.
The interview with Channel Ten journalist Jonathan Hyla didn't start well, when he suggested he should have brought beer to the junket to break the ice.
Blanchett insisted she doesn't drink beer, preferring vodka, and clearly became irritated by the journalist's odd line of questioning.
Attempting to save Hyla from an awkward chat with his bosses, Blanchett tried to steer the conversation back to the film, in which she plays Cinderella's wicked stepmother, stating, "Getting back to the movie at hand - one of us has got to do our job..."
But when the interviewer asked her how she was "able to get that cat to do what you wanted it to do on a leash", adding, "I tried to put my girlfriend's cat on a leash and it just never works for me", Blanchett decided enough was enough, and gasped, "That's your question? That's your f**king question?"
She then offered Hyla a cold, "Nice to meet you", before ending the interview.
