Carey Mulligan is ''loving every minute'' being pregnant.

The 'Great Gatsby' star and her husband, Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford, are expecting their first child together and the 30-year-old actress - who is said to be well into her second trimester - is feeling ''wonderful'' but looking forward to taking some time off.

A source told E! News: ''She is feeling wonderful. She is really excited to finish her projects up in the next coming months and enjoy some time off to just focus on her and family. Her pregnancy has been going well and she is trying to take it easy in between press with her new film 'Far from the Madding Crowd' and her show on Broadway ['Skylight'].

''[Carey] is feeling great and loving every minute of being pregnant for the first time. She is really happy now that her Broadway production came to a close.''

Carey - who hasn't officially announced her pregnancy but showed off her growing bump at the Tony Awards at the weekend - and her husband are planning to return to their native UK ahead of their baby's arrival once the 'Drive' star's stint on Broadway comes to an end later this month.

The source added: ''They weren't planning on announcing, but she hasn't stopped working. Everybody around her is being very supportive. The show ends soon and they're going back to England after.''
