Calvin Harris is one of Taylor Swift's ''favourite people''.

The 'Bad Blood' hitmaker began dating the DJ and producer earlier this year and took to Twitter on Tuesday (09.06.15) for National Best Friends Day to celebrate the hunk and her pal Gigi Hadid, who she captured in a picture.

Alongside a link to the image, which was posted on Gigi's Instagram account, she wrote: ''I took a photo of my favorite people--they were laughing so hard, the lens couldn't capture it fast enough. (sic)''

The 20-year-old model - who recently split up with Cody Simpson - also accompanied the photo with her own caption, dedicating the blurry black and white snapshot to all of her buddies.

She said: ''There's not a picture that could fit in everyone that I appreciate, but this post is dedicated to all the friends that light up my life- you know who you are. I'm the luckiiesssttttt

#nationalbestfriendsday (sic).''

The musical pair appeared to confirm their romance at the Billboard Music Awards last month where they were seen kissing and hugging each other, and their mutual friend Ellie Goulding recently revealed she introduced the pair in the hope they would start dating, predicting they'd be the perfect match because they are both ''really tall''.

She said: ''[I] did play matchmaker, that's true.

''Calvin is a really great mate and he's so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love. I thought, 'They're both really awesome and both really tall, they'll be brilliant together.''
