Caitlyn Jenner celebrated her legal name change by having a cup of coffee at Starbucks with her new name written on the cup.
Caitlyn Jenner has celebrated her official name change with a drink at Starbucks.
The 65-year-old reality star proudly showed off a cup of coffee with her name on it after a judge approved her request to be legally recognised as a woman on Friday (25.09.15).
Caitlyn captioned the sweet picture: ''Happy Saturday! What are your plans on this beautiful day?''
Earlier this month, the 'I Am Cait' star - previously known as Bruce Jenner before her gender transition in May - filed documents at Los Angeles County Court seeking an official name and gender change. The request was approved yesterday and the Olympian's full legal name will now be Caitlyn Marie Jenner.
While the star was not present for the short hearing, the judge signed off on the changes after confirming there were no objections, according to gossip website TMZ.com.
The E! reality star previously requested that the information necessary to complete the request, including her medical history, be sealed from public record, as she has received some ''unwelcome negative attention from private citizens.''
Caitlyn's eldest son Burt Jenner recently warned her haters that she ''will still whip you're a** at anything.''
Alongside his photograph of the reality TV star with two young girls driving a pink toy car, the 37 year old wrote: ''So obviously a lot has changed... but thankfully, for me, the most important stuff didn't. My dad still loves toys, still loves to go fast... and will still whip your a** at... ANYTHING.
''Yup all you haters, my dad will still probably whip you're a** at 65 with implants (sic).''
